After careful consideration, Catholic Charities Jacksonville has decided to postpone the Black & White Ball due to rising concerns about coronavirus (COVID-19). Our team is working with TIAA Bank Field to secure a new date for our signature fundraiser, and we expect to announce that date in the coming weeks.
With the threat level rising to pandemic proportions, we made this difficult decision to ensure the well-being of our attendees, staff, volunteers and fellow community members. We are grateful for the patience and understanding of our event guests and sponsors who have been supportive of our decision to do our part in the interest of public health.
Those who have already purchased tickets to the event can look for regular updates via email as well as on our social media pages and website – CCBJax.org. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Nicola Barnack at 904-899-5505 or nbarnack@ccbjax.org.
In these uncertain times, we are reminded of our mission to put faith into action and serve our community’s most vulnerable. There are many in our area who will need help from Catholic Charities now more than ever in preparing for and protecting against the coronavirus. You can support our efforts now by visiting ccbjax.org/donate.
Thank you for your consideration in providing help for others during this difficult time. Please join us in praying for those affected by coronavirus both here and across the globe. Thanks again for your patience and support – we look forward to seeing you all at the Black & White Ball later this year.
Sincerely,
Lauren Weedon Hopkins, CFRE
