The Camp I Am Special luncheon and fashion show is set for Saturday, March 7, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. This is the 38th annual event hosted by the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.
The event is designed to showcase the abilities and personalities of our campers who have intellectual and developmental differences – all while raising funds for the Camper Scholarship Fund, which provides aid for those attending Camp I Am Special this summer.
The participants in this year’s show will be modeling spring fashions with a safari theme. They will strut their stuff alongside their typically abled buddies who will serve as escorts down the runway.
For those interested in attending this wildly fun event, tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 each. Doors open at 11 a.m.
