As we prepare for Hurricane Dorian, Catholic Charities Jacksonville will be poised to begin to support our community with short term and long-term recovery for the aftermath from storm damage. For information on first responders contact local offices of Red Cross or United Way 2-1-1. By calling United Way 2-1-1, they will direct you to intermediate and long-term disaster relief recovery and provide referrals to to our Emergency Assistance program.
Another great resource we provide is our Food Pantry. It is open to the public on Wednesdays and Fridays, with tickets and distributions beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Catholic Charities Food Pantry is located at 1470 West 13th Street, Jacksonville, 32209, on the campus of St Pius V Catholic Church.
We know that many are looking for ways to help. The most effective way is to donate to support our efforts to provide long and short-term recovery in Northeast Florida. This allows us to directly provide our clients with intermediate and long-term recovery assistance.
