Become a Member of the Divine Society 

Catholic Charities Jacksonville has put our faith into action to serve the most vulnerable in our community for more than 75 years. Our programs rely on financial support from corporate sponsors and individuals who come together to provide more than $1 million each year to Transform Lives. 

 

Catholic Charities Jacksonville is grateful to be supported by the Divine Society, an exclusive sustainer society formed to engage and celebrate donors. The Divine Society has provided a way for our most involved contributors to collectively support our programs in a deeper way, allowing us to surpass our goals and supporting our team as we served over 33,000 clients last year.

​We request that members allow us to apply donations where they are most urgently needed, but if a particular program has deeper meaning to you, you may certainly earmark your gift toward your program of choice.  

Divine Society Membership Levels

Platinum Members - $20,000 +

These top-level members will make a substantial impact throughout our key programs of hunger relief, Emergency Financial Assistance, Refugee Resettlement, Camp I Am Special and Immigration Legal Services. Below is an example of how each membership could sustain Catholic Charities Jacksonville’s work in all of these areas – and more – for a full year. 

 

Community Benefits:

  • 20,000 pounds of food to stock our pantry at St. Pius V Food Pantry 

  • Emergency rent for 7 local families facing homelessness

  • Legal service assistance to 5 individuals becoming citizens or reuniting with their families  

  • Camp I Am Special scholarships for 10 Campers

  • Furniture for a newly resettled family

  • Christmas gifts for 10 families in need 

Gold Member - $10,000

Gold Key members will also significantly affect change in our community. Below is an example of how each Gold Key membership could sustain Catholic Charities Jacksonville’s work in all of these areas for six months.

 

Community Benefits:

  • Weekly food distribution at St. Pius V Food Pantry for 140 families for six months

  • Emergency utility payments for 4 local families struggling to make ends meet

  • Operating expenses for our Camp I Am Special Aquatic Center costs for all Campers to swim 

  • Christmas gifts for 5 families in need

Silver Member - $5,000

Silver Key members are imperative to keeping our initiatives funded and able to meet emergent needs. Below is an example of different ways Silver Key memberships could support the people Catholic Charities of Jacksonville serves.

 

Community Benefits:

  • Weekly food distribution at St. Pius V Food Pantry for 140 families for three months

  • Cost of utility bills for 2 families for three months 

  • Employment assistance to 4 resettled refugees 

  • Camp I Am Special scholarships for 2 Campers

  • Christmas gifts for 5 families in need

Treasury of the Faith Member - $1,000

This sponsorship level is exclusively for parishes interested in joining the founding class of the Divine Society. Those who join the Treasury of the Faith level can expect their gift to support our agency’s area of greatest need. 

Community Benefits:

  • Weekly food distribution at St. Pius V Food Pantry for 70 families 

  • Emergency utility payments for 2 local families struggling to make ends meet 

  • Professional Certifications for two clients

  • Leadership training for 5 Camp I Am Special Group Leaders
