Meeting the most basic human need by feeding the hungry
The Catholic Charities Public Food Pantry Hours: Food distribution will start at 10:30 a.m. and end when 70 families have been served. Distribution will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the pantry is a touchless, drive-through operation with no restrictions on the frequency of visits.
One ticket per household; you must be present when your number is called. If you are not present, we will go on to the next number and you will miss your opportunity to receive food. However, you are welcome to return the next food distribution day and you must get a new ticket. During holidays, please check with the agency for the food distribution schedule.
The Catholic Charities Public Food Pantry has moved to a new location. The Pantry will be located at 1470 West 13th Street, Jacksonville, 32209, on the campus of St Pius V Catholic Church.
Help Us Serve
We all know what it feels like to be hungry, but most of us do not worry about where our next meal is coming from. Food is one of the most basic human needs. Catholic Charities reaches out to help meet the need in our community through our Food Pantry.
We could not keep our Food Program going if it were not for the generous donations and support we receive from numerous businesses, organizations and volunteers.
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat." - Matthew 25:35
